Christmas Crafts for Kids

Believe it or not, yesterday we had a SNOW DAY!!!

As a native Louisianan, I can tell you that this does NOT happen often–I’m talking once every 5-10 years!

My kids were pumped to get the day off from school, and they were up at 5 a.m. to watch those big, beautiful snowflakes fall from the sky!

Here’s the view of the front of our house at around 10 a.m…

…and the view of our backyard from the balcony!

Aside from frolicking in the snow, I’m looking forward to spending some quality time this weekend with the kids decorating the house and maybe even doing a few crafts.

While looking for some fun and simple ideas, I stumbled upon a few easy crafts you can do with paint chips!

If you know me then you know this is definitely speaking my love language!

Below are a few of my favorite ideas…

How about adding some dimension to handmade Christmas cards? Check out this tutorial from Debbie Chapman.

What about colorful gift tags? Here’s a step-by-step guide from Jill Fritz.

Any kid would love to make cutouts for a string garland! Use these tips from Stacey Freeman.

I can’t tell you how much I love this ombre wreath! Stephanie Hung has the scoop on how to create this unique look!

Add some dimension to your mantel decor with these paper trees! Visit Drawn to DIY for the how-to guide.

Whether their decorative or usable gift boxes, why not wrap them like this for an unexpected touch? Check out How About Orange for instructions!

Aren’t these ideas cute?!?

Would you try any of these?
