Yes, I’m slowly returning to the land of blogging!
I’ve learned something about myself.
I have not yet found a way to strike a balance between an increasing interior design workload and an active blog.
Don’t get me wrong! I love writing and creating content. However, when I’m in the midst of working on interior design projects, I find it difficult to pull myself away long enough to sit down and write thoughtful, value-added blog posts!
I’ll also admit that I have a bit of anxiety about sharing my own work.
You see, I frequently wrestle with insecurity due in large part to the fact that I’m blessed to enjoy “friendly” social media connections with some industry giants.
Recently, a friend of mine who is also an interior designer suggested that I make it a priority to share with my readers and followers what I’m working on.
She said, “You’re working on some amazing things, and people want to hear about it! If YOU don’t talk about it and promote your own work, no one else will!”
She’s right, and that little pep talk was exactly what I needed to recommit to the creative outlet that my blog is.
INTERIOR DESIGN PROJECTS
We have two “new build” interior design projects that give us the chance to work with our clients very on in the design and construction process.
The Bush Modern Farmhouse Style Home will pore foundation next week, and we’ve worked with the clients to select all of the materials, finishes, fixtures and cabinet styles.
The Denham Springs Mediterranean Style Home is actually in the plan development phase, and we’ve been working with the client and a draftsman to optimize the floor plan with the help of our 3D rendering technology.
INTERIOR DECORATING PROJECTS
We’re also working on some interior decorating projects, including:
- An elegant yet entertainment-focused family room
- A space-optimized nursery that has to house a toddler and a new baby
- A glamourous yet family friendly dining room
- A dining room that transforms from everyday eating for a family of four to one that can comfortably fit a group of 12
- A bright and vibrant home office
- A bold powder room, and
- A pattern-layered guest bedroom
We regularly help clients with choosing paint colors and appropriate materials/finishes for their renovation projects.
I’ve settled into my office space nicely, and I’m happy to report that we’ll be expanding our footprint!
We’ll be renting the office across the hall to house our newest team member who will be coming on board next month!
There are lots of exciting things happening for Arianne Bellizaire Interiors! I promise to do a better job of sharing those things along with what’s inspiring me at home (and abroad!).
